The forum definitely feels less informed these past few weeks. I've also recognised more games in the 'Guess the game' topic in one month than I previously have in about three years.

I got a reply from Mike about a week ago on Live about some PC Engine stuff I'd asked him about. He didn't answer my question about whether he's coming back here though. *shrugs* it's just an internet forum eh.

While we're on the subject, where's meu? (don's repeat his name 3 times, mind, or he'll return and kick the bejesus out of us all in the MvC3 tournament next month).

I made a post yesterday in this thread making light of it.. but then I removed it cos, you know, touchy nature of the forum at times 'n all

but yeah man, he left just after I hijacked the name the game thread.... maybe that was what keept him here....

Its probably true that Haggar was a machine, the name the game thread deviating into uncontrolled randomeness may have overloaded his circuits

I miss getting Haggard though!.....

I miss Mike very much. He's a great guy. Ok so he tends to post news before anyone else has even heard it, and he did have that sweet knack of 'Haggaring' people with threads. On the other hand, he knows EVERYTHING, and he's a really nice bloke. The forum is a much poorer place on balance without him around.

I agree, he was always a pleasure to game with... and although alot of his posts were news related, those got everyone else talking. The forum is noticably slower without him.
