Hahah, its good fun really, like Goldie Lookin Chain, sillyness in music keeps me happy and it takes the seriousness away from music which is good, because music is to enjoy!

Christ, you've changed your damn avatar again...

Yeah, that was my intital reaction to Bitches Brew too. I had a ridiculous 70s Columbia Record compilation album though (with Big Arnie pumping iron on the cover for some reason) and it had 'Miles Runs the Voodoo Down' on it which really drew me in.

Haven't heard "In A Silent Way" though, but'll definitely check out a copy. I know it's the album he did before, but had never got round to picking it up.

Previous comments on other threads mainly. I know its a huge generalisation but meh.
A lot of people here do like the metal/rock scene and ive not seen many posts to make me think otherwise.

I really dont wanna start arguments here but I clearly have. Oh well :?

No you haven't, you just broke the un-spoken rule of the GamesTM forum (which I am now typing, therefore now it is spoken, or something) which is you fell into the trap of answering one of meu's attempts at stirring the shit. Most people just ignore it.
There's a reason this place has been quiet recently.

And yeah sorry, rumblecat, thought I could do with a change again.

Ah, right. Yeah, I suppse there would be some overlap in musical tastes - it'd be strange if there was none

Suppose I'd better list some of my likes, seeing as how I've posted here - it's be rude not to (though some are just because of individual songs from groups/singers, not their catalogue; some are confessions like that other thread) *gets back to the point*

Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers, Foo Fighters, QOTSA, U2, The Zutons (yes, the saxophonist), RHCP, The Futureheads, Outkast, The Klaxons, Joy Division, Nobuo Uematsu (I always wonder if that's a legitimate choice, as he composes and others perform), Nelly Furtado, Michael Jackson (before he went a bit loco), Gnarls Barkeley, Depeche Mode

Edit

*slaps forehead*

Hates

Mika, Avril Lavigne, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg ("oh, wow, you're blowing smoke rings - you must be such a hit at children's parties; you should dress up as Gandalf!", gangsta rap

Same list really as Meu's.
Its not surprising really, my friends all have very similar tastes in music.

Anyway, its friday, its sunny and its the evening so a good dose of laid back tunes is in order.
I reccomend some Bonobo!
