Though I border the other side of metal to hard, fast and aggressive its all good.

Though I do tend to listen to a bit of darker classical music, not really sure what im listning to but compsers like bach, Wagner etc, suppose I have Final Fantasy sound tracks to thank for that.
Awesome! Though looking at you sig, i should have guessed you were sleazy! :D

I'm open to pretty much any genre of music, I don't like to limit myself.

I'm not fond of a lot of RnB or the 'Gangsta' variety of Rap. The really heavy stuff... Thrash, Death Metal etc doesn't usually do it for me either, but there are exceptions even in these genres that I find enjoyable.

The Maccabees
Of Montreal
The Shins
The Decemberists
Kubichek!
Tokyo Police Club
Foals
Cold War Kids

They're all relatively well known I suppose, but they're the pick of the bunch really.

Anyone here listen to fugazi? They're one of the only bands you can say are in it for the thrill of making music and not for making money.
We don't need no education!
Yes you do you've just used a double negative.

I could name hundreds of bands like that, none from these days however.

Just cause they are not in it for the money, does that really make the music any better?
Have to admit I really enjoy Fugazi, Though there were other bands of the era I would rate higher.

Also has anyone hear picked up Rise by The Answer, In my opinion they are one of the best modern day examples of raw tallent I have seen in a long time.

I weren't the one who used it to brag up a band.

I like;

Rythmic Noise/Industrial/Power Electronics/Breakcore
Harsh EBM/Industrial Metal/etc
Hard Techno/Acid Techno/Schranz/Trance
And assorted Metal, Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop and other odds and sods.

I also produce Industrial/Rythmic Noise stuff and do alright in the 'scene' but i've been rather lazy for a while and have probably forgotten everything i knew....
