Uni interview
Ive just got my interview letter for nursing-but its taking place in aylesbury which is fine or so i thought. However looking through the bus/train timetables ive discovered that although aylesbury is in the next county from me there is no way to get there other than going through london so grrrrr as i hate going to london
Seems silly to me that there is no bus or train service from milton keynes or bedford to aylesbury

Hang on a minute... I live about a mile from the Streatham Ice rink were the guy got stabbed and not too far from where some shootings started happening.
And you know what, it's actually an OK area to live in. Just like anywhere else in London you're never far from a good or a bad area.
London is one of the most culturally diverse cities on earth, a centre of the arts, fashion, music, film, well OK not really film. But it's a great place to live.
If you don't believe me, take a stroll around Dulwich Village, about 2 miles from Streatham, with it's beautiful, green, tree lined streets. Or head out in Soho and get lost in little bars, karaoke boxes and cute little boutiques and restaurants. Or vistit one of the many world famous art galleries, in fact, just go for a walk along the Thames.
OK, some area's are not so nice, but to just dismiss London as somewhere that needs to be burned down is just plain ignorant.

Hehe you guys have never sounded more like country bumpkins waving pitchforks and believing everything you read in the bleedin' tabloids.
I bet you'd never go to Tokyo too because it's full of Yakuza and Ninja schoolgirls killing tourists whilst recording it on their uber mobile phones...
Stereotypes eh, gotta love em.

Nothing to do with the people in London. Its the enviroment or complete raping of it. The place is going to be under 10 feet of water in years to come anyways.ZappyMcZap wrote:Hehe you guys have never sounded more like country bumpkins waving pitchforks and believing everything you read in the bleedin' tabloids.

I have friends who live there and up til my daughter was born i frequently used to visit london and i couldnt stand it but unfortunately if you want to get anywhere on this god forsaken island you can bet that you have to go via london
People have no manners and is a nightmare
