Wii question for you all

I own a gamecube- really enjoy the games -but some of my games are imports- like Starfox Adventures and Chaos Field.

-Can i play my gamecube imports on a British Wii?- can i perhaps use the disc that i use in my gamecube to allow this?!

-I'd appreciate any advice.

Just checked my free loader disc- it appears to be the 1.0e -which should work fine!

now if only i could track down a wii.....

I still needed to use my freeloader with the disc-swap when trying to boot japanese GC games. Better than buying a new version though, so I'm not complaining
