ok, i can kinda live with DS being put at the end of franchises (tetris DS, mario kart DS etc) but its getting tedious seeing them make DS stand for something:
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Dig Dug : Digging Strike
Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy
Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers
Lunar: Dragon Song
Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Super Black Bass: Dynamic Shot
Tenchu: Dark Secret
there's probably more, but thats all i can think of...

do they think we're impressed by this? most of them just sound rubbish!

tell you what. i'm so outraged by this i'm gonna go spend some time in the angry dome...

I've noticed it, but not really bothered about it... Much worse stuff to get angry about (like Shenmue 3 ;) ).

I have to admit this had totally passed me by as well. Why don't they start doing the same thing on the PSP, huh?

Grand Theft Auto : uh... Pugilistic Scooterbike Pimps.
Pro Evolution Soccer : Player Scoring Penalty etc.

Ah, crap. Best I could do in five seconds. :(
PSN / 360 : rumblecat1

Nintedo Have done simlar things for quite some time

After the release of the Super Nintendo - Most games were followed with Super.

As were 64 and Advance games. thouigh I think they seem to have had a bit more trouble doing that with the cube and the Wii.

though I would quite like to see a Weebl and Bob game for DS

Weebl and Bob DS - Dick Sprouts (sorry to those not familiar with the antics of weebl n bob)

They broke the 'rule' with Battalion Wars though... Also the first Wars game to not be named after the system?

heh i hadn't noticed this either. Those crafty developers eh.Good thing they don't have Gta on Ds,as it'd have to be adult orientated "Die S##theads" or something.
And yes,a weebl and bob game would be most welcome.Plastic Vicar!

This also annoys me. Just think about it: someone got paid to spend time coming up with that nonsense.
