I liked the demo. Played it with my parents and was having them shout out the decisions they wanted Connor to make.

It is all familiar if you’ve played one of Cage’s games before. The investigation stuff was interesting but not mind blowing in this day and age - think Batman: AK/Batman: AO set the bar for investigation modes - and this doesn’t really do much outside that mould.

Only when I headed outside onto the terrace did it get good, felt my heart racing as I really wanted Connor to save the little girls life and not **** it up.

Telltale and Dontnod have already done Cage’s style of games better, but it’s just great to see a game like this with a AAA budget behind it.

I loved Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain but felt Beyond was hot garbage. This is meant to be more like Heavy Rain.

I want experimental games like this to succeed and show they can sell, so I’m there Day 1. I want to see more kooky mad games with crazy control schemes and QTEs.

Quantic Dream flesh out the universe of its new title, in stores on 25th May

Tune back in tomorrow for The Interview. The second film shows a TV interview with the first android to pass the Turing Test. With the game set 20 years in the future, it is reasonable to imagine that the Turing Test will have been passed successfully by then.

He's making an irelevant point cause a product review isn't really the place to soapbox on a companies toxic work culture.

Newsflash. Cd Project Red is also a shit company that in the past abused unpaid internships to get where it is today.

But Witcher III is still excellent.

I just can’t work out “Indictment against the relevance of game reviews” is he saying that game reviews are useless and this is the proof of that?

I don’t know how that conclusion was reached, he is either way smart or way dumb. Whoever he is.

The only decent 'writerly' writer/journalist I can think of in gaming circles is Austin Walker cause it feels like he holds back and thinks hard on what he says or writes.

I think he's a bit weird with regard to some opinions he holds on what makes a piece of media problematic, but that's just a point of view difference.

I looked at that guy's Twitter and he just seems your run-of-the-mill inflammatory web journo kind of guy.
