It's slightly cooler since yesterday but the added humidity due to the rain and storms doesn't make it that much better. Forecast says tomorrow will be rather dry at 25° so maybe that'll be good for a change.

I’ve had to put a hoody on here.

It’s actually become rather chilly.

Been hot for so long we've forgotten that relatively warm temperatures are warm still.

It's those southern fairies, Sly, they can't take changes in weather. I was relaxing in shorts and t-shirt last night. None of this hoody bollocks :D

Yep. I bet he puts the heating on in September. Any Northern family knows that shit is heresy. The heating doesn't go on until after Halloween.

Overcooked 2 now has online play. Anyone else interested in this? I loved the look of the first one but it was couch co-op only

I’m very interested but I probably won’t pick it up for awhile.

Does anyone really enjoy multiple endings in games?

Most of the time it feels like there's the wrong ending and then the correct one.

RE1 pissed me off with the way you miss the final boss cause of this type of thing.

Soul Edge/Blade is the best example I can think of. Interactive Arcade Endings (why no other Fighting Game has ever done it since is mystifying). Most of the time, you get the "good/canon" ending if you do nothing. Jumping through the hoops of the Interactive sequence (note they were not easy) you got a Special ending instead.

I'm in favour of it, in general, when it's a reward for going above and beyond within the game IE becoming a Vandalier in Vandal Hearts. But not when it's like Asura's Wrath and Castlevania Lords of Shadow aka Behind a pay wall.

If it's like Dark Souls link the fire or start age of dark then I don't mind.

But persona 4 for instance has some really dumb ending stuff.

The worst one I recall was playing the first Blazblue. There were multiple endings at random points in the story mode you wouldn't even have a clue were there. Dumb stuff like 'lose this fight' and the world ends.. :?

The only instances where I like them is if they feel tailored to my decisions. Talking about stuff like Mass Effect, Heavy Rain or Life is Strange. I'm also ok with how Metroid deals with it, meaning the ending depends on how many items you found or how fast you were.

JRPGs on the other usually mess this up big time. Remember that NPC behind the shop in the second village you visited? Yeah, if you missed talking to him between beating Boss X and Boss Y on the third continent you also missed activating his quest which would have asked you to find 12 invisible stones hidden in the world which would have unlocked the path to a secret boss for which you'd have to grind at least 20 levels to be able to beat him and who would unlock the Perfect Ending upon finishing the game.
