Star Wars A New Hope

Post by ScotsWahey » Mon Dec 11, 2006 6:42 pm

Girlfriend found this on the forum she goes on. Somebody has recreated the entire first StarWars move using text characters. Really pointless but kudos to the guy that made it.

Just go to your run program thingy and enter

telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

Little black box appears, give it a little time to get running and the movie starts.

Well, while we're in Star Wars mode, this was bouncing round the interweb many moons ago, but always raises a smile.

MFGamers

If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

If the monkey could type one keystroke every nanosecond, the expected waiting time until the monkey types out Hamlet is so long that the estimated age of the universe is insignificant by comparison ... this is not a practical method for writing plays.

These are pretty funny re-workings of scenes for the original Star Wars films with the added information that the prequels chucked in...

"Luke, when I first knew him, your father was already a great pilot... well, I mean, he was eight... and he kind of drove this racecar kind of thing... in fact I wouldn't actually call him a pilot per se..." :D
