First of all, I never condoned abusive or bullying behaviour... read my post a little more closely and you'll see the words "within reason".Magius wrote:You're just assuming that I force bundles upon customers just Bumpkin had it happen to him in another branch, taring every employee at GAME with the same brush. Strikes me that you've just got your bee-in-a-bonnet because someone like myself won't stand for customers who think they can just waltz into a GAME branch and bully the staff into submission. Its not nice and to be perfectly honest we'd rather you're type shop somewhere else so as our 'real' customers can continue with their shopping in relative peace without being subjected to some loud mouth bleating on about 'his rights'.
Gentlemen, I'm afraid you're very much in the minority. Thousands of customers shop at GAME stores across the country everyday and are more than happy to shop at GAME, are happy with the service and are happy with the prices. 99% of the customers who venture into our GAME store are more than happy and often comment on our good service; this weekend and the Wii launch being of particular note.
By the way, I'm not a manager you just assumed I was, much like everything else you've posted.
I never assumed you were one of the one's pushing unwanted sales on customers, I came to the conclusion that you weren't very good at customer relations from the blind ignorance you were demonstrating in your previous posts.
Forgive me for the manager thing, it was something I thought I had seen in an older topic, it must have been someone else from the forum. At least you don't have ideas above your station.
Lastly, don't patronise me about operations within the stores. I've worked in three branches and was training up to become a manager before I left because I was disgusted at the way the company was treating it's staff and customers in the run-up to some major console launches. I know the training, and I know how things get done there.
Fact is, Bumpkin, like many other people trying to get their hands on consoles from your stores (as well as Gamestation) during the busier Christmas period are being treated unfairly and unethically. No matter how much you wish you could dismiss them, consumer rights are law and need to be adhered to... whether the company admits to its failings or not.
