tiny, tiny text?
finally got round to getting dead rising for the 360. after ages of waiting and wanting this game so badly i have found it to be a pain to play.
the text is so tiny when you talk/interact with people? i cannot read it at all.
i do not have a HD tv, is this my problem? the only other game that has had this problem so far is PGR3. is there a way round this without the expence of forking out for a HDTV?

RGB Scart?Wolfish B wrote:having a scart wont fix it as i set my 360 to 60hz and throught a scart on a 32 inch telly and the writing wasnt as small as before just more blurred....
i've got a 28" and it displays fine with a Joytech RGB Scart cable.
bear in mind that the SCART adaptor that fits the three (R, W, Y) cables is not an RGB SCART cable.
The text in Dead Rising is a joke. It's clear and legible on my HD but still stupidly small. Not to mention that you don't control the flow of the text, meaning sometimes you don't have enough time to read it before it disappears
Apparently Capcom are taking note and will be addressing these issues for Lost Planet.

Re:
If it's the cable that came with the 360, Core or Premium it is NOT an RGB Scart. The core comes with a Composite cable(Red,Yellow and White) with a Scart Block. The Premium comes with a Component cable and the Scart block.Wolfish B wrote:its an RGB Scart straight form the 360 and theres no problems with the t.v. as its only 8 months old
As ToneeBlair says the Joytech RGB Scart lead sorts the problem out completely available Here £11.99 the difference is amazing, not only on the text but it sharpens the graphics up immensely too. Or buy a VGA cable from Gameplay £9.99.
