i can't ever imagine an era where Leslie Nielson's films aren't loved. Truly sad to hear to think he's no longer here.

Much preferred him in his early roles like in Forbidden Planet and never really get the humour in the Airplane type of movies but indeed a sad day oh and remember dont call him Shirly. :P

Absolute legend. A personal favourite of mine was his turn in Due South. Man I loved that show.

One of my favourite actors and starring in two of the funniest films ever made: The Naked Gun & Airplane. The saddest and biggest loss to film/TV this year.
