Devil May Cry 5 & Resident Evil 6

Why are they making Devil May Cry a prologue? DmC?! Telling the early part of the story. I'd rather a next episode or the game. What do you guys think?
And does anyone know if they are goon to make a RE6??
Claire and Chris story like RE2 and Jill and Leon.
Sherry makes and apperance, along with Sheva, and Ada.
Now that would be worth buying.

There's Rumour of a MP only Resi game called Racoon City which is another game Capcom are outsourcing,

As for the DmC been a prologue Its probably so they can have free reign on the creative and not be tied to the other games.

i don't know about resi. i remember the super short trailer for the 3DS game had an intriguing scenario going down. sounds more interesting than multi-player resi, personally.

but my opinion on DmC is the whole thing is flawed. the DMC universe is already garbage and utterly nonsensical, so making a prologue to a series that has already had a prequel is dumb. they should just take the logo, the name dante, and do what they want with it. forget every thing else.

The new DMC will fail, fans hate his hair, it's not white. That will be a problem, too, as DMC fans are very much fashion connoisseurs and a non anime hairstyle will not impress. How will they cosplay, they will be the most unremarkable twats at the convention, especially next to a Sephiroth.

I want a new pair in RE6. Gavin and Milly, exploring a T-virus ravaged Brighton, exploring a family ran burger joint, a shit arcade and a sex shop. and under the sex shop they have a lab, and you blow it up with a bunch of green dildos made of C4.

Remember how good the remake of Resident Evil was on the Gamecube? Just remake Resident Evil 2 and be done with it.

dmc isn't really a prologue, its more of a complete series reboot from what I understand hence the total overhaul design wise on Dante (which I still totall hate). However I'm still holding out that the game could play well - I liked Ninja Theories other games (Enslaved and Heavenly Sword).

As for RE6 the only thing they've said about it in the past is that its going to be a complete overhaul gameplay wise just like Resident Evil 4 was. I for one hope this doesn't mean "team based shooter" as I hated Outbreak 1 & 2 with a passion. Plus most of the atmosphere and tension in the earlier games came from being isolated - 1 against hordes of zombies and monsters with just fleeting appearances from other survivors.

I agree that I'd probably just prefer a REmake-style Resi 2 than a proper sequel, because I don't have a lot of faith in Capcom's development capabilities any more.

As for Devil May Cry, I don't like the new design of Dante, but I'm prepared to wait and see what it's like. Hopefully it won't be as flawed or irritating as Enslaved can be.

I thought the 3DS one was Resident Evil 6??? Personally I'd like to see the return of Zombies aka REAL Resident Evil, not all this parasite shite.

As for DMC, I don't really care. I never took to the series and God of War outshown it long ago.
