I work with three gay guys and one of them listens to the radio often when his boss is out. He had Gaydar FM on a while back, and it was so stereotypically gay - it was exclusively stuff like Cher and cheesy '90s dance and poppy inoffensive manufactured group shite. Luckily I no longer hotdesk, so I don't have ever sit near him any more; I'm not sure my ears could take it.
You had it lucky mate! At my last place I worked in an office of 5 people including myself, 2 of who were gay men and both into amateur dramatics. Both of them use to rehearse their latest musical with each other, imagine it..... times by 100, and you come somewhere close to the pain I used to endure  It was hell on fucking earth I tell you! :x

Does disliking the kind of music that Gaydar FM specifically plays make me a homophobe?! I need you all to listen to the station for one day before you respond with your answers.

How often did they play I Will Survive and It's Raining Men (Halliwells Version)?

Now I'd hate to be the one to disagree with our messiah Sickmoth here, but there is a something here I have an issue with, it's the old people who watch these shows are morons. Now, like I have mentioned myself, these shows are fucking stupid, cynically made and do nothing for fans of music, despite the theme they take. Now I imagine his 99.9% figure is exaggerated for comic effect but it's not 99.9% true, a lot of people I know who enjoy these shows and they tend to be more successful in life than me, and probably a number of you reading this. That's the thing with the majority, it's not all the lowest common denominator, it probably means your boss, or your bosses boss, your doctor, your solicitor, **** knows who else.

It's this silly nonsense again. You're hobbies, your interest.. whatever, don't indicate your intelligence. I have no doubt that most that watch X-Factor aren't genuinely into music, but people who aren't into music are not inherently stupid. I think it's more that people don't know better, because the mainstream blinkers them to look at this shit.

But yeah, have more faith in the common person you cunts. obligatory

I'm flattered, but all I did was express an opinion. You're right, of course, about the exaggeration - maybe it's only 99.8%. I'm willing to compromise on that one.
