Anyone know much about iphones?

Post by Coyote Smith » Sat May 29, 2010 11:04 pm

I'm not sure if I'm just being a complete luddite or if there is something genuinely wrong, but I can't get my iphone to connect to my wi-fi in my house. Sometimes the network shows up and other times it doesn't. Even when it does it says 'unable to connect' when I type in my password. I was outside earlier and I could see other networks appearing so I don't know if it's the wi-fi chip or if it's something else. It's a reconditioned phone but I got it yesterday and aside from this it runs perfect. Anyone have any ideas?

If it is picking up other wi-fi networks ok, I'd say the issue was with your router rather than your phone. Who provided it? Someone was saying they'd been having problems on BT Homehub the other day.

Virgin. I took it to the apple shop and they confirmed it was a hardware issue so O2 are sending me a new one.
