Shouldn't really matter. Get whatever the highest letter your router supports though. B G or N.

Bloody advent computers and laptops! Bunch of crud. My last laptop was an Advent and it went back to the repairshop five times before they wrote it off and gave me cash for a new one. My PC before that had endless problems with internet connections, not reading boot files on CDs properly, overheating and goodness knows what else.

I'm definitely going down the custom-built route for my next PC, rather than getting any crud from PC World again.

I've had similar problems with laptops after about a year or so - after a certain point the wirelessness just seems to... give up. Our connection at home is super fast when it wants to be, but my laptop just seems to chug sometimes. Is this a pretty common thing with most laptops? Mine's an Acer Aspire 7730 and I've had it since about Sep '08.
