Simply put, No. USB speakers will not work and there are no other ports

If your TV has bad sound you can plug speakers into you TV and play the sound through there

I have that very set of X530 speakers, and they can be connected to the PS3, if a little fiddly. Basically what you have to do is get a scart lead which has red and white "L/R" cables coming out the back of it, plug it into the "AV out" socket of your ps3, and put the scart socket itself into your TV. Then you need to get a three-way jack splitter, to connect the three jacks into the red and white leads. Erm, reading this back, it's not very clear -- if you want I could take a picture and show you how it's done :P
