120GB-250GB HDD (360)

Has anyone done this upgrade? Ive read somewhere that the data Migration kit doesnt work with the 250GB HDD, but then heard it can from other places. Im confused.... Just would like someone who has done this to confirm it works.

Im asking because im pretty certain my 360 is dieing so though I may as well get a Super Elite as im already having to juggle data on the 120. Obviously theres no point if I cant transfer my data though.
