fifa 10 help and advice

Post by tardis » Thu Feb 18, 2010 5:14 pm

hi

i really need some help or advice with fifa 10
i used to be pretty good with fifa 9 but i just cant get used to fifa 10

my main issue is the online head to head

i just cant seam to pass long or hard, my passes always go short and slow.

in the pro online i dont have this problem only in head to head.

my players just dont run very fast its driving me crazy. i usualy play as liverpool ( i know i know but hey what do you do).

my settings are all set to assisted, i have tried semi but it makes no difference.

i can take losing, but not being able to compete with slow passing is driviing me crazy.

any help would be fantastic.

cheers guys

Hmmm, not sure what the problem is to be honest. Do you mean the speed the ball moves or the speed that your players break and push up the field?

I mainly use Arsenal online and I definitely don't feel like I can break as quick most other players. If I pass the ball out of defense I either end up with a lone striker trying to go it alone or by the time I get into their half they have all their defenders back and in position. I assume it is down to custom tactics but I have not found a decent set up yet.

Hi Magic knight

it shard to describe really. I think its down to the general speed of the game sort of feels really sluggish unlike fifa9.
But as said above it drives me crazy not being able to pass quick by that i mean the speed of the ball seams to trickle rather than Ping

Cheers anayway

Having played a lot of PES in the past, I can agree with this, it does seem a bit laboured, and also if you play a through ball, your fella never seems to get there if they have to set off from the same place as a defender.

Some teams play really well though, try Everton...

I played some tool who chose Real Madrid or Chelsea (I cant remember) just after I had randomed Everton. Play went on but I kept catching the guy on the break and went 3-1 up before the dick disconnected.

I quite enjoy using one star teams against people who use the five star teams. It's the ultimate insult when their superstars get taught a lesson in football by a massively inferior team!
