Remade for DS!

Post by wodin_uk » Sat Nov 22, 2008 9:34 pm

Hi folks, just joined so hello!

Just been mooching through the forums and haven't spotted any thread specifically discussing what would make an ace remake on the DS (if there is something I apologise).

To kick it off I'd say a version of Dungeon Keeper is long over due, any suggestions/comments?

Monkey Islands would be a start. Also, Flight Of The Amazon Queen, I loved that game.

Also, welcome! :D

Thanks very much!

I picked up Monkey Island 1 and 2 as homebrew type things (SCUMMVM?), they are very good but would be much better with a bit of a tweak. Apparently Flight of the Amazon Queen is freeware and can be downloaded although I don't know too much about it.

Try it, it's so funny. I wish games of today had half the wit and humour as the old point and click games of old.

I have always thought that Mega-lo-mania would be an awesome game to port onto the DS. This in one of my gaming wet dreams.

I wish they'd done the Bionic Commando Rearmed on the DS. It's ok on Xbox Live, but I had the most fun playing the previous incarnations on the Gameboy. I think there could be a lot of potential with the two screens and touch screen.

By the way, I was really looking forward to Dragons lair DS, but its all gone quiet. Anyone know if it is still being released?

Contra 4 is worth a look at.

Cannon Fodder DS too!

Last I heard on Dragon's Lair DS was that the publisher had pulled out...

Cannon Fodder's one of those games that always seem to crop up.

Love it. Would be great on the DS

Gunstar Heroes! I didn't enjoy the GBA version much but the 'proper' Megadrive version is ace, I'd love a DS remake.

The first two Discworld games would do it for me

The original Tomb Raider, which I've always wanted on a handheld, as well as Elite, which would be simply splendid with touchy-stick controls, and why not a bit of Doom and Duke Nukem?
