BT Browser Help?!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by PRNelson » Fri Aug 01, 2008 1:00 pm

When I upgraded to the BT Home Hub, I had to install a new browser. However, whenever I click a link on an email from outlook my PC opens the page up in the old browser. This really is annoying me and I was wondering if anyone could help me resove this at all?

Thanks.

Eh? It's got nothing to do with Java.

You need to make sure that the BT Yahoo browser is set as the default browser. In IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs and check/uncheck "Make Internet Explorer the default browser" (You can also make Outlook the default program for all E-mail here)

Now try launching the BT Browser and you should be asked if you want to make it the default browser. Click Yes.

Install Firefox and have that as your default browser.

BT Yahoo browser is terrible. You want have any problems once you make firefox your default.
