I remember once Maf thought I sold drugs to afford all the shit I buy. Now I'm the one thinking he sells the ol' Mandy on the sly :P

I bought Arcania: The Complete Tale (£3.69) and the Bunker (£3.99) both PS4 from the PSN Sale.

I'm a sucker for RPGs and fancied Arcania on the 360 but never got around to playing it, and whilst the reviews are "mixed" I'm sure I'll get some fun from it.

The Bunker is a bit of a strange one - its a FMV sort of game, and the prime reason for getting it was that it was filmed in the Secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch, Essex, so thought it would be nice to see it on screen, having visited there a few years ago.

I recently played Late Shift by the same guys and really enjoyed it. I was interested in The Bunker but it seems like there's a tiny bit more game involved, which slightly put me off for some reason.

It might be a while before I play The Bunker, I want to finish Amnesia (and then perhaps the other games in the Amnesia Collection), then I'm away for 3 weeks in Nov, but I'll post an update of how I get on once I start playing it.

Played The Bunker and finished it - around 2 hrs gametime.

The story was pretty good, and gameplay wise, there are a few choices you make of where to go & what to do, drawers and lockers to open to find things, documents to read, tapes to listen to, and toy soldiers to collect. There's a few QTEs too, the timed ones where you have to put the cursor in the centre of a circle can be irritating (in particular towards the end of the game when you get 2 in a sequence to do, I must have failed that one about a dozen times, I guess on a PC with the mouse its pretty easy, but with the PS4 thumbsticks its a bit of a faff).

I got just over 50% of the trophies in my game, so if you are interested in trophy collecting then there's enough for another run through (not that the story will change that much TBH, as most of the "choices" are restricted to just finding the right path/sequence).

For £3.99 in the PS sale I can say I enjoyed it, not sure I'd be happy with paying £15 or so.

Space prohibits me from getting the big pack, I'll just chance it with my DS4 pad for now. What's the game like content wise? Only other game I've got in the series is the PS Vita version which has a nice range of tracks and modes to play.

It's been nearly three years since Pious last even touched anything to do with gaming (yes, even my obsession with the Binding of Isaac has ended) yet by chance I came across this:

Only four chapters in so far, yet it's pretty damn good, especially for 99p.

Pre-ordered Doom on Switch for 36 quid.

Explanation?

I just don't have an explanation.
Is it on the Switch?

How is the mouth feel.

How many reps can you lift with it.

Does it make a satisfyingly whirr or a tortured whine.
