I heard it was to do with McMahon's wife running for governor or some such. Her opponent criticised her involvement with a company that promotes violence and substance abuse so the WWE cleaned up its act to combat this. That was a while ago though, so maybe they just found that the increase in the sales of kiddy merchandise made up for the fact that the quality has gone throught the floor.
I don't think TNA is that great right now either though. They need to concentrate more on the X division and the knockouts are a bit of an unfocused shambles at the moment as well. They keep trying to promote large factions and it just leads to the same stories over and over. Guy from faction A fights guy from faction B. Faction A guy is losing so the rest of his stable run down to ruin the match and beat down faction B guy in the ring. The remainder of faction B run down to the ring and everyone has a big, messy brawl.

Kharma (Awesome Kong)
They need to put those 2 in a feud again - their one in TNA was really good.
Melina came in leaps and bounds when she became a singles competitor rather than a manager
Eve Torres - admittedly cannot wrestle for the life of her, but she can pull off one or two relatively impressive spots

So did Snooki
I had forgotten about Gail Kim - although that is hardly surprisngly given the way that the WWE has been totally ignoring her.

Agreed. Mileena is good too, haven't seen her wrestle in ages. Also Kharma is now pregnant so is being written out for 9 months.

Oh I agree, TNA certainly has it's flaws but it is far more enjoyable to watch than WWE IMO.

Yay, Chyna made a porn movie! A proper one this time!
She's not exactly my first choice of diva to star in a hardcore porno but I'll take whatever I can get.

About an hour into this week's raw - current thought I hear you ask?
"Ah WWE, the only place where you can watch a crazy black guy kick a midget (who cant speak) in the face for 'entertainment' purposes"

I am pretty behind and still catching up, although I assume you are referring to R-Truth. I really like what they have done with his character. He has way more attitude than any of the other heels have had of late. Even Kharma's pregnancy was handled fairly maturely when I thought they would just never show her again and ignore it. Could the WWE be getting out of its PG rut?

Hope so. R~Truth has been doing well with his character and the "lil Jimmy" thing as of late and I also agree with the way they handled Kharma's pregnancy too, I don't recall her ever speaking in TNA, she wasn't bad on the mic either.
Still really really bored of John Cena though, how many years have they been doing the same thing with him now?

My God - What's with the absolutely RIDICULOUS Sting/Joker shit???
Its FUCKING AWFUL!!! He's gone from a 17 yr old The Crow reference, to a 3 year old wannabe Heath Ledger reference.
Give. It. UP!!!

I have been saving up the wrestling shows for a couple of weeks due to my work making me go abroad so I am pretty behind. It appears that I started collecting just after Capitol Punishment but I have no memory of the PPV whatsoever. I'm sure I must have watched it but I don't remember a thing
I got a copy of the Metro at the airport today and they randomly had an interview with Dolph Ziggler. They called him a former World Heavyweight Chamption, which I was sure was a mistake, but I double checked on Wikipedia and right enough he was champion for 11 minutes back in February
I also didn't realise that he was one of the Spirit Squad

Posting off my phone so can't quote but Bilge - i remember him in spirit squad. I think he was nicky - had a fatter/square face and normal-ish coloured hair.
And Nigel - that promo was a scripted shoot. He had certain points he had to go over but the HHH/steph comments were completely unscripted. Storyline, he was suspended but has been reinstated for the PPV match only, but is carrying on at live events despite this. There's also talk of him extending his contract after the PPV now too although nothing set in stone.
Sorry for any spoilers Bilge!!

WWE has been superb lately, mainly all thanks to CM Punk and what he's done over the last three weeks or so, anyone else been watching RAW and Money In The Bank?
