I Am Kloot - Some Better Day, from this year's brilliant Let It All In album.

I couldn't face Black Sabbath this time...Ozzy is (even more) shot to bits (he was horrendous for at least 4 or 5 songs when I last saw him a couple of years back, until he finally warmed up). Friends who bothered to see the Stockholm gig said much the same of him this time but for longer, although the gig as a package was said to be very good. I sit in the camp of much preferring Ozzy's post Sabbath work anyway (that's not to say I don't have most of the Sabbath stuff, which has plenty of great tracks)...and I did prefer Dio era Sabbath too

As for Devin Townsend...I'd rather listen to Andy Townsend  Nothing wrong with his voice as such, Sex & Religion was ok back in the day (albeit one of the weakest of Vai's albums...don't even get me started to the latest one though!!), but I steer well clear of his other recent nonsense.

I'll go back to listening Buckethead....it keeps me calm while I work on annoying things (well some of the 963 albums he's done at least).

Away from the rock mould I I've been listening to Aynsley Lister's newest album, which is excellent if you like that kind of thing....which is very bluesy rock (ok, so I never defer too much from various forms of rock!) and a great cover of Feeling Good of all songs. Still trying to plug that Gary Moore shaped hole!

Bit of an eclectic mix for me at the moment:
War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream - saw these live at Latitude at the weekend, amazing stuff - just a mesmerising wall of hypnotic sound.
Archie Bronson Outfit's latest - another Latitude moment, though not heard of them before that.
Todd Terje - It's Album Time - album of the summer for me.
Hookworm - can't remember the album title - psychadelic drone rock. Good headphone music.

I haven't really heard anything I like in a long time except Twin Atlantic, so I decided to go back and listen to some old school stuff...

Peggy Lee is DAMN good!! Spotified her based on the song off Roger Rabbit (Why Dont You Do Right) and work is flying today because of her stuff!

Just tried that I Am Kloot album. Not bad, but in don't think I was in the right frame of mind to listen properly. When in work I try listening to things with a higher tempo. I'm sure with a couple of beers just chilling that album would be great though!

Anyone here listen to podcasts?

I've got a stockpile of Stone Cold Steve Austin's recent ones and some of Chris Jericho's too.

Looking for some gaming ones if anyone knows any decent ones? Cheers peeps!
