Those Cow and Gate ads with the laughing babies are like nails down a chalkboard. And why the hell do they always manage to show pudgy potato-like babies when I'm eating my dinner? That Johnson's one with the cringeworthy "oooooone, twoooooo..." voiceover is particularly horrific. And I think they took down the skating babies Evian ad because it was giving people nightmares. No amount of CGI can make that look "cute".

That modern warfare 2 stimulus package makes me want to kill puppies. Every time I go on youtube its their to greet me

#1, with a bullet, the new Nationwide ad using "the laaaaaaaady" characters from Little Britain.

Simply dire.

I saw an advert the other day for 'anti-chafing gel'. You rub it on your body to stop you from chafing when you move.

Wow, thanks for pointing that out Bilge! I never knew the stuff existed. The top of my thighs just under the perineum are constantly chafing 'cos of the size of them - all that weight training and cycling I used to do. Summer is the worst, when they get sweaty, and I get big welts and broken skin making walking a nightmare.

Now I have the answer, thanks to anti-chafing cream! Where did you see it mate? Boots or somewhere?

Lanacane! Fantastic! Great advert too - loved the way they represented overweight people with that rubber balloon animal kind of theme.

A couple of less obvious ones for me. I hate the Aviva ads with Paul Whitehouse. I just don't think they're funny at all, and it seems like such a waste to have someone as naturally good as him in such shitty adverts. I especially dislike the one where he's picking up all the football supporters and at the end shouts "Green Army".

I also really dislike the Enterprise care hire ad where the guy and his missus are going somewhere for a dirty weekend she asks him what colour underwear he wants her to wear. I just don't get what it has to do with a car hire, and just seems awkward and sleazy.

As a Welshman, I agree, but Jeff Stelling makes that advert amazing.

It's the KitKat one that pisses me off.
Fingers crossed. Aesthetically it looks clumsy. As a vote of confidence it's appalling.
