Perfume ads are aimed at people buying the fragrance for other people are they not? Aftershave is advertised by buff, square-jawed male models because they appeal to women, who in turn buy the fragrance for their fella, and vice versa.

There is an advert for some bathroom place on at the moment that annoys me. It isn't even particularly offensive but it is pretty long and drags on a bit when they play it at every break.

Up here we also have a weird and expensive-looking advert conveying the message 'Scotland: No Place for Racism'. Although I agree with its sentiment I can't think who they hell the stupid thing is aimed at. The vast majority of Scots are not racist and those that are will think that the sort of people who commision such an advert are gaylordian goat-bummers. Meanwhile my tax money is going down the drain again...

Man, I'm really sick of the "We buy any car!!!!!!!!! Dot com!" and the "Go compare!" now. First they were annoying, now they are just tiresome, like they have gone past the threshold of being annoying and sh*t and gone into the territory where I just want them to stop.

However, that new ad with the rollercoaster in is awesome, I think its from Barcleys or something. It's more or less the same as the water slide one, but with a roller coaster. Very nice.
