Is it me or is the token "old" person the new token "black" person? You just end up getting these weird mish mashes of people that would never really be in these situation, it's just stupid. If I am interested in buying something, it doesn't really matter who is promoting it.

That advert is utterly utterly contrived - it doesn't have even the hint of 'reality' about it. Much like that damn Oxo advert where the kid sprinkles Oxo on his sisters head to 'make her more interesting'.

I'm sorry for the shouting, but it has reached that much of a saturation point that my 6 year old is now asking us what gold we have spare to sell. And there seems to be about 300 different companies all trying to out-irritate with their ads (except one, which has like a gangsta rap sample on in the background!) but Im guessing that they are all affilliated in some way and there is just a monopoly man type bloke, laid in a swimming pool filled with Elizabeth Duke Engagement rings, discarded by the pramfaces for enough to buy three bottles of Lambrini for the weekend.

There. I feel better for that.

Well this month that flipping Iceland ad is driving me mad. That dopey fat Nolan sister singing out of tune with some other gimp whose hairline receeds back in time "What a swell party this is". **** off. i haven't even seen any UK tv for about 3 weeks or so (the Swedish adverts are yet to prove that annoying other than the 118 100 radio ones that stick with you through the night!) but the sodding T-Mobile still is annoying me.....the one with the grinning ginger bird who picks up her phone, wails along badly to the cacophony of noise (it's certainly not music) 'played' by the room full of random instrument spods...then has the audacity to ask how it sounds....obviously not a true friend on the phone as they would have said bloody terrible and go get a job!

Don't really mind Xmas ads, as i barely watch any TV as it is. What i do what to see though, is the end of that f#cking 'Go Compare' ad. Everybody involved in this ongoing atrocity needs to be arrested, dragged onto a plane, and left to fend for themselves on a deserted island, patroled with sharks with laserbeams attached to their heads, so there's no possibiliy for escape.

"Go Compaaaare, Go Compaaare". No, "GO F#CK YOURSELF". Wanker
