Ebay Help

I'm sure people use ebay here so I thought it might be a good place to ask the following question.
Postage cost discounts: How do these work? I have clicked on the buy item thing and no further options pop up for getting more than 1 item. Will it just work it out automatically when I buy another item off the same seller? I've never used ebay before so please help me or I will be forced to run around confused in nothing but a pair of jam underpants!
Here is a link to the seller if that helps.

It says
ONE POUND OFF EACH ADDITIOANL ITEM YOU PURCHASE!
at the side, so when you bid for things/buy things, you won't need to pay for them until you have bought the last item, and the seller will make the appropriate discounts.
(By the way, I copied and pasted that message in caps, so i'm not being cheeky or anything, that was how the seller put it in his store.)

"You can combined purchase over a 5 day period"
Within 5 days you'll get a pound off the postage of each additional item.
So if you win 3 items within 5 days, you'll save £2 on shipping.
"Plus additional 50p off each time you you return your custom"
Umm... And I guess you'll get 50p off if you've bought from this seller before.

So I just sit there and point while the seller sorts everything out? That sounds like my kind of shop

Yuo but make sure he has done all the discounting and stuff before you send the payment - things can get messy and is the major reason I no longer use eBay...

I think the shipping thing is done automatically by eBay if you set ut up correctly.
The 50p discount you'll need to do yourself (if you're a returning customer that is).

Now you have made me worried again! I'm convinced there is some sort of secret button that will save me money now, I just can't see it.

Okay, just to check, order all the stuff I want seperate, wait to see if the seller does the discount, if he does then pay, if he doesn't destroy him/email him asking about the discount?

I think that is frowned upon nowadays

Best just to send an email.

The seller can choose the discount . If it doesnt mention a discount in the listing they arent forced to give you one . Its always worth asking though as most sellers will offer one . Usually about 10p off the already overpriced postage cost .

The money came off the delivery cost just fine. You can only get 3 items at a time though which kinda sucks. I didn't know so just clicked on the first 3 games I was getting. The ones I really wanted were Yakuza and Tony hawks underground, they were the last 2
