Re: Forum feedback
its bizzare... yeah OK I hold my hand up and have done in this thread, a couple of my contributions in off topic recently have set teh cat amongst the pigeons, like I say if you troll through them I don't point them at any one person yet they have provoked a reaction that will not dissapear, even in this thread I have tried to kind of explain myself a bit but bob just wants to extract small sections of my post's and jump on my back, now I've got Jay, another mod quoting other peoples contributions as if they were my own...... Its all getting a bit silly.....mfnick wrote:Cant we all just get along? Theres no need for such hostility everywhere is there surely?

Ban the banning!!! Freedom of speech rules!

This has turned absolutely ridiculousBob Syko wrote: Okay. That's fine. If there continues to be a bad atmosphere on here as a result of your sweeping generalizations and uncanny ability to tell it like it is you will be banned. The end.
Surely the reason for an "off topic" sub-forum is to firstly discuss topics that have no relevance to any of the other categories, and secondly to debate the said topic. Nobody has to agree or disagree, that is the nature of a debate (I take it you understand the meaning of the word debate, eg, to argue, discuss, dispute?
I'll be honest, if you can't keep an open-mind and control people's right to freedom of speech without spitting your dummy out at the slightest thing you don't agree with then maybe moderating a forum isn't for you?
End of, I've said my piece...... but for shit's sake lets ditch the angry attitude's eh? There's absolutely no need
Awaits ban

Im glad he locked em, I was starting to feel like a right cockmarthagogo wrote:i dont think being bored with a thread warrants a locking tbh, now if you had said "this thread is going nowhere and you have your stupid flag thread for all this nonsense" then i would deem it justified.
if boredom is an excuse then surely the tennis thread should have bought it after post 1?

Re: Forum feedback
i can understand why the mental illness thread was locked, especially when existing members open another account just to troll.

Re: Forum feedback
Not really anything I can do about that I'm afraid Ryan. I checked his IP and it didn't match anyone else. After the whole fucking Peter thing I try to steer clear of people I think have duplicate accounts because it's such a ball ache getting to the bottom of it. The IP did come from Ireland though. However, Smurph's IP put him in the UK, as did Denzel's so that's not really any indication of where he actually is.RYAN WHITELAW wrote:i can understand why the mental illness thread was locked, especially when existing members open another account just to troll.
