I see where you are coming from SM, but the kids weren't in any real danger. I don't think it would be any scarier if you dressed up as a ghost. It's all a bit of fun. Maybe they went a little too far with this, but I loved getting scared at that age, as long as I was told or realised that it was just a joke.

I watched Zombieland the other night and it was awesome. Dunno if it had any of that fancy pants social commentary stuff that Zombie films like so much but it was really funny, quite clever and had probably the scariest Zombie I have ever seen. The finale was great and there were even a few surprises in there.

The post man also delivered the first volume of the Walking Dead today which I read a few pages of and then stopped when the dude was sitting at the table with the black guy. That was quite an opening. Probably read the rest in a bit once I have checked on my peeps.

I found out last night that The Walking Dead comic book has been made into a series, airing on FX in October!!!! How cool is that!!!

Ok, I'm definitely wanting to watch that. His accent's ok, I think it's because we're used to his english accent that it's a bit strange to hear. I haven't read the graphic novels, but they're on my 'to do' list.

Good to see Lincoln acting again. He was the best thing about Teachers, he just seemed happy to ad work after that.

Just watched the trailer for that, looks pretty interesting.... not being up on my TV channels, will it be airing on a Freeview channel or is it satallite?.

Looks like its not available on freeview.... pffft. Looks like a dvd boxset purchase if it gets a release.

Just Got back from the world premiere ( glamorous eh ) of "THE DEAD" a pretty decent Indie Zombie flick shot on a low budget in Africa.
I was quite impressed a few hammy bits of acting but more than made up for it with some nice exploding heads.

I was recently lent all current volumes, which i devoured. Can't wait for this - although looking forward to seeing how they depict that seen with the spoon.

So guys! The Walking Dead, episode 1! Fucking amazing or what! Zombie goodness delivered fresh (or decomposed) to us every Friday night. Who could ask for more!

I see you all enjoyed the fact there were no ads. It sure was a plus - I always find the Joop Homme interruptions really detracts from the stuff on FX, so something to look forward to in next weeks episode.
