2015 draws to a close, as always the promise of the next year looms ever closer.
It's a leap year too, which is nice!

On a personal level, given the climax of this year, the only way is up from here...

Another small operation to get through, but definitely on the up for 2016. Including some new consoles...

Personally, I just want a boring year. Nothing especially good or bad happening. Just a nice quiet one. This year has been a massive strain on me, so it'd be nice to just chill.

I definitely echo those sentiments. When it comes to the former, maybe I might become a gamer again in 2016?

It would be nice if it rains a lot, so my state can start to work its way out of the drought we're having.

I would also echo everyone's statement of some peace and quiet in 2016, but it's an election year here. It will be all claws, venom and mud slinging.

Belated Happy New Year guys, not really been online much over the festive period, been trying to keep to kids entertained for the last 11 days. I now see how people become alcoholics.

Decided to sell my PS Vita today. Not really bothered as I haven't even touched it in months :|

:!: this should keep you busy pious : http://forum.gamestm.co.uk/viewtopic.ph ... 10#p560236

Anyway...

:| doubt 2016 will be much fun i'm afraid, my mum's terminally ill and my youngest brother has a yet undiagnosed neural condition that shuts down his brain leaving him a unconscious twitching mess on the floor.

:| on the bright side my oldest nephew has now had two near missis with terrorist attacks, last year he was in Tunisia one hotel up the shore when the Marhaba.

And he was just a mile down the road from last weeks attacks in Jakarta, hell of a start to his new job.

So a good year for me will be no funerals fingers crossed.

I am going to Rwanda end of month for work. I hear it is hot there.

Loaded up on lots of fun vaccinations so I expect I'm going to feel pretty awesome in a few days.

I hope FFIX PC gets released before then. Better to get a 50 hour rpg to burn time on a plane or while not working/doing African shit than to download 50 hours of TV series

So 12 months on, how did we fare?

2016 was a "Dumpster Fire", inundated in the death of icons and the prevalence of Very Bad Social Choices taking form. Probably deservedly among the worst years that didn't involve a World War...

David Bowie
Gene Wilder
Prince
Muhammad Ali
Alan Rickman
Victoria Wood
To name but a few :(

Someone said on TV Bowie held the fabric of reality together because after he died the world went to sh*t

Yeah. Hope 2017 isn't a sh*tter :|

Happy new year! Ya nerds!
