Man, first the 'basket of deplorables' faux pas and now she is actually really sick, not been a good week for Hillary.

Realise that this isn't a presidential election thread but increasingly its battle lines seem drawn on social media and the internet. Which I suppose explains all the barely engaged trogs trying to get this void of human reason and compassion into office.

The Clinton campaign has directly acknowledge the Pepe the Frog meme as a symbol of white supremacy: https://www.hillaryclinton.com/feed/don ... explainer/

This is our political discourse now. The dankest memes. Stop this planet I need to get off.

Twitter laying off 9% of its global workforce. Only a short while ago Disney and saleforce withdrew bids they'd made to the platform. The reason? Apparently their mishandling of online abuse.

It all feels a little like the current season of South Park when assholes on the internet have a knock on effect like this. Although Twitter's problems go a lot deeper, struggled to reach growth demand for a long time now.

Meh, I like Twitter. Far prefer it over the other social media platforms. And I really can't stick that Facebook, my God that's a sickening thing to use, it's like all the worst people in society in one place.

Yeah just read that but really, if Snapchat and Instagram are already hogging all the attention, there just isn't room for Vine.
Seems strange tho', I mean, does it cost too much to keep it open? :?

I don't know, but it really sounds like they were depending on being bought out. Hence all the big moves to cut costs.

That's how it looks anyway. They've failed to monetise and grow and it's a matter of time now tbh

Twitter suspends accounts of 'alt-right' figureheads.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-37997864
"The benefits of Twitter are interacting with normies, influencing discussion and getting alt-right memes trending."
No wonder twitter failed to convince Disney, more and more they seem to be an echo-chamber for the weirdest fucking people.

Also apparently Trump's new 'chief strategist' is an 'alt-right' superstar as well. I guess some of his chief strategies will involve cuckholding and complaining about SJWs because that's what politics is now :?

What's funny is these guys seem to have an even larger persecution complex than the people they complain about.

Yep, Brexiteers, Ukippers, far-right Trump wankers, this world is now a cauldron of hatred and intolerance where it used to be filled with compassion, love and tolerance.

The political climate is looking very similar to the years preceding WWII.
