What i don't like in BR2 is the fact that the students are put into 'tag teams',so when one person dies, their team-mate is killed instantly.Meaning half the class is slaughtered in the opening battle. And about halfway through i just couldn't follow the plot anymore.
I watched BR2 a few weeks ago and i really enjoyed it-obviously not as much as the first one but it was good non the less-i thought the team-tag thing was brilliant and a great way to get rid of some of the kids.

but one of the best films i saw was 'audition' a japanese film i think where a guy 'auditions' women for a fictious role in a fictious film and in fact he is looking for a wife/girl friend but he finds this psycho bitch who does all sorts of freaky things with needles and hurts the poor little doggy-

Lol and now you guys dont need to watch it as ive given you the two hour long film in a few sentances

Well if you liked BR\",which was quite gory, you should try 'Itchi The Killer'.It's exceptionally demented, and a bit 'wrong' places, but it was a laugh.
Tetsuo The Iron Man is another bonkers one,bit like Silent Hill.

any one else seen it?
My brother bought me this for christmas and i've heard great things, but I haven't had time to watch it yet.

I bought BR2 on the cheap but I haven't watched it yet either. I had a girl over watching the original and she said it'd be special if we watched the sequel together too, so i'm waiting. I've heard mixed things though :?

ichi the killer was great and hillarious.
Tetsuo is a bit like eraserhead im guessing, great stop motion as the bloke slowly goes into metal. But one thing that is off putting is that apparently the whole film is a metaphor about being gay, but i think thats probably just some arty wankers reading into too much.

I didn't think much of ichi the killer, I wish I hadn't spent £20 on it all those years ago.

I watched High Plains Drifter today. It’s my all time favorite Clint Eastwood movie.

I took my daughter to see Happy Feet this afternoon. Some great moments with Killer Whales and seals, but otherwise a schmaltzy movie. The whole bit in the end about what the humans did to help the penguins was absolute bllcks. If anything they would have captured all the daft birds and put them to work in the circus.

Still, my daughter liked it.

i didn't interptet Tetsuo as being gay, maybe i wasn't paying enough attention or something. But it's a totally insane film that's well worth seeing it.Apparantly the sequel is even better.

Disney hasnt had a good franchise out since Aladin and Beauty and the Beast. Theyre on about Lion King 6 now and they used the shoddyest animation ever. Its like watching Pokemon. Pixar have made great movies but lets see how long that last now that John Lasseter has left.

the director of tetsuo is in ichi as the old man with the huge muscles.
I actually think the director played the character "metal fetishist" in tetsuo.
