Well let's see I have had ten tracking cookies, couple Trojans and I'm still removing shit. Somehow they got past my security.
What happen was I just logged off of my MSN IM from talking to Sly and went to N4G.com and click on a story link for FF XIII. My security just went nuts telling me my computer was being attacked and then my computer turned its self off. I had this problem ever sense and I'm still dealing with it. I just deleted two tracking cookies off my computer today. Every time I get on the net ads for Full Sail (a school in Florida), some newspaper I never heard of (EDIT: News 4 Show as it just pop up on screen) and Free MMO's will just pop up on my screen (even when I come to Games TM webpage). Even though I have pop-up blocker on and security on. I think they are connected to the tracking cookies. I'm starting to get pissed off with this as its the second time this has happened (first time was Sept. 09) and I did nothing to nobody to deserve this.

I wish it was someone physically attacking it, so I can introduce them to my steel toe boots, as it stands it's being attacked by some lonely person who hides behind a computer. As you can tell this is starting to piss me off as when I was trying to write this an ad trying to sell me a trip to Mexico via Luxury Link popped up on my computer screen.
EDIT: Just removed nine more infections. This is ridiculous.

This happened to me a few years ago and there was no recovery: just had to buy a new computer and be very careful about what sites I went to. All the shit came down when trying to download an episode of 24 or something from EZTV. Click the wrong thing and it's game over.

I need to upgrade some parts of my computer, so I'm just going to replace the HDD too, but I just finished scanning for the umpteenth time and it seem to be running fine. I'm having to guys from my D&D group who are way smarter than me, come over tonight to check it out.
All this shit happen when I went to a unofficial FF XIII web page that listed a story on N4G.com

I am kinda on the same boat but not really. I have applied to loads of places I never thought I would ever see myself working just to get in and apply elsewhere like you say but even most of them are strict on their hiring procedures. I just could never see myself stooping to the level of McDonalds or whatever primarily because I despise the place and everything it represents, plus It'd be kinda embarrassing and depressing to go work places like that. I wouldn't mind working in supermarkets or wherever but there are certain levels I couldn't see myself hitting, especially given that I have debt that I need to be paying off and I wouldn't nearly earn enough to do that in places that pay you next to nothing. Either way I'll keep looking. Like you said, unemployment benefits aren't much if you don't have a family to raise. I get about £200 a month which is very little in this day and age, plus I give a good 50-60 of that to my family for living there (it ain't much but at least its something). It ain't the end of the world though, something will come up, for now I'll keep applying and keep myself busy through writing and doing odd jobs and chores.
I never thought that I would hear myself say this, but I agree with Scotswahey on this one (its a good job I am already lying down at the moment)
I have a law degree, and up until July I was employed as an office manager/managing director of a mortgage brokers. For reasons that I won't go into here I had to leave. Since then I temped as:
1. A cleaner, cleaning up student flats at the local uni.
2. A cafe assistant in the local law courts, manning the till, helping in the kitchens etc.
3. A call centre operative - 3 days calling up various branches of Boots to ask them why they hadn't sold any of a particular product yet.
And at the moment, I am working in a Jobcentre call centre, taking calls from people who want to claim benefits. Meu will back me up here that this job requires all the intelligence and application of a used teabag to do, being as how you just read the script and type in the answers you are given, but hey, ITS A JOB. Its no good saying that you have limits and there are things that are too humiliating to do, because in this market and this climate you have to take what you can get. Anything that pays you any money at all is better than getting paid **** all to sit at home, and I guarantee you that even working at poundland or Maccy D's or whatever will pay you more than the dole does. And guess what? The old Cliche is true because since starting at the DWP I have been interviewed for another much better job that I will hopefully be starting in January if all goes well.
So, sorry to sound harsh man, but its time to realise that the entire world is in recession, and it don't matter if you're a qualified fucking rocket scientist - if no bugger needs rocket scientists and the only job left open is flipping burgers at Maccy D's then guess what? Its time to put on your apron, silly hat and name badge and get flipping. Trust me, you will be better off in the long run - you never know where opportunity will come from. Mrs G is being made redundant at the end of this year and she has just been offered another job through an outside activity that she does in her spare time, and not just any job but her absolute dream job. You never know, the first customer you serve at Maccy D's might be someone looking for and English Lit graduate. Stranger shit has indeed happened.

They were married last year at a lovely ceremony in rural Leicestershire, in an old Abbey ruin. There were chanting monks, druids and all sorts to add to the flavour of it. I've got some pictures. Really nice.
Everyone was there: Peter, Levi, Josef, Genghis, Myra and the kids. A lovely day.
