Coolest anime ever and annoying that the blu-ray never got released here. Even the DVDs cost £300 on amazon and it's not on crunchyroll or netflix or anywhere.

Well I'm only upto part three, so I have no idea who most of those characters are. The ones that look like monsters are "stands". Basically if you've played Persona, JoJo is where they ripped-off the idea.

Actually no. It started off (in the 80's) all hyper masculine and all that, as everything was in the 80's. The characters have trimmed down significantly since the series began. It's not really part of the aesthetic style of the series anymore Three separate reviewers I've listened to over the years almost unanimously describe JoJo as "Damn Manly"

I knew you'd find that bit. As I mentioned that was in the most recent volume I read of part 3. It wasn't great, but it was of it's time...
