I don't think it's the spam, because if this forum is slow/won't load, it's the same situation with the Retro Gamer & nRevolution forums, which are also run by Imagine Publishing.

Don't speak too soon, there's a shed load of spam accounts being activated every day. This is why me and Volstar need account-deactivating powers, as there's good pause between the account being activated and the spam being posted from it.
I often see loads of new spam accounts but all I can do is watch them come in and hope they don't attack.

They've even started posting pictures in the threads now, which I suppose isn't all bad. Shows quite some commitment just to annoy us too.
