I’m sure it will make next to no difference but good on Marvel for making 2 minute-ish videos advertising their comics. More support for the comics is always good

I’m catching up on Avengers: No Surrender. When did Rogue become such a bad ass leader? I might have to go and get the trades of Uncanny Avengers because she is so kick ass
Helps that it’s also drawn by someone called Pepe Larraz who I’ve never heard of but is really pretty good

Re: The All New Comics Thread
Here is my pitch for a current X-Men story. It is called Days of Pasts’s Future
And the premise is that when Beast bought the original X-Men to the future and then they ended up sticking around, that timeline continued without the X-Men and every mutant ever became part of the Brotherhood of Mutants. The Brotherhood find out that the reason they’ve succeeded is because the X-Men were time displaced, and they could come back at any moment and wipe out their reality. To stop that from happening every mutant comes from the past to the future to wipe out the original 5 time displaced X-Men and it becomes a free for all until all the older versions of the original 5 X-Men have to go back to the past in their place to ensure time unravels as it should, and the original 5 time displaced X-Men stay in the future and rebrand stronger than ever and call them selves The X-Men and it starts a new era called Ground X
Boom problems solved (I think I have no idea where original Angel and Beast are right now)

You'd be creating an even greater time paradox than the one that exists right now...

I know, I can’t work out those ramifications either. But I think it would be a fun fight to see every mutant now fight every mutant pre-now

Re: The All New Comics Thread
The thing with the Classic Era of X-Men, they were all weak as hell. Cyclops couldn't use his "deadly eyes" for more than a minute or two without passing out, Jean Grey struggled to lift more than a chair with her powers etc The Time Displaced Five are not the Originals in that regard, so setting the future Mutants against the past ones would be a bloodbath.maf-me-quick wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 12:51 pmI know, I can’t work out those ramifications either. Also a senior X-Men team sent back in 60's Marvel, would resolve virtually every threat very quickly.

I’m not going to go back and forth on my 30 second pitch. I just thought it was a fun idea. Like when they did Battle of the Atom and stuff

Your pitch was ok, Battle of the Atom was shite.maf-me-quick wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 1:10 pmI’m not going to go back and forth on my 30 second pitch. I just thought it was a fun idea. Like when they did Battle of the Atom and stuff

Battle of the Atom was really fun. I know people disliked the All New X-Men stuff but considering where current X-Men stuff was at I was happy to go back to, oh here is this really simple thing which is fun

^ That is Kitty Pryde saving the Earth singlehandedly, by phasing a planet-killing bullet through the planet...
