Went for the papers this morning and discovered that £7000 had been credited to my account

Image

Not sure if this made me happy this morning more...

1-Shocked

2-Confused

3-then Realisation dawned

4-and Resignation quickly followed as i knew i would have to give that £7000 back, and the smegging banks are closed tomorrow as well.

I would charge them for storing smebodys money in your account about £6500 would be fair.

Indeed, mostly. Good to see some new MODs have been selected (although I personally couldn't post on that thread for some reason but meh) and things are finally starting to look up once more in GTM land.

Good to see you back Pious! Sorry to hear about your 'female' circumstances though!

I'm happy today because my little'un has now outgrown his moses basket, which means he's now in a cot in his own room, which means i can finally get my xbox back off a mate who's had it the last few months and play some games again. Borderlands 2 can't arrive quick enough!

It also means me and the missus don't have to tip-toe around the room past 8:00 anymore. Although my new found ability to move silently around a room in pitch blackness should put me ind good stead for a role in the new Metal Gear Solid game.

Thanks Guinnes. She said the one phrase that chills my blood to the core "You're a nice guy" the next time I hear it I will have to punch that person in the face. I have a lot of negative association to that phrase as the three people that have said that to me in the past.. well this is the Happy thread so best not to dwell.

What many people may not be aware of is that when you become a Postie you have to sign the Official Secrets Act. So I can't go on about names (of which some peoples names are hilarious and/or Puns) addresses etc Anyway onto the funny part I can mention. People order the strangest things. One day I have a long rectangler box in non descript dark grey plastic, which is code to Posties as Sex related. On this occasion a corner of the box was exposed with a simple phrase written on said . 15" Studded  needless to say when I had to knock on this persons door to deliver the item, she being a slip of a girl in her 20's, I was far too intimidated to say anything.

Literally couldn't have moved away fast enough from that door. How the hell is any man supposed to compare with that

Today I saw an embossed metal Autobot badge on the back of a Land Rover. Awesome.
