That f@cking solo single she had out annoys me. Like a child's playground taunt. They'd obviously constructed the song around the dance routine.
F@cking Cunts.
Can we start pissing and moaning about Heart FM , too..? It's the station I imagine those cock sockets from the Halifax ads listening to.

Heart FM is called Suicide Radio in my books, it's always the most depressing songs to exist being played on there and I swear it's just on a loop; it goes from Maroon 5, Snow Patrol, Elton John, etc. and within an hour or so it will be playing the same songs again. Listen to it enough and you'll be clinically depressed within a week. The+Deleted wrote:Can we start pissing and moaning about Heart FM , too..? Nothing wrong with Kings of Leon. Its just a pity the radio plays thier newer stuff and never plays the Bluesy stuff from the epic first album.

London's Heart one-oh-six-point-twoooooooooooooooooo is merely a part of the machine that keeps shite like the X Factor going, makes people want to be famous, and popularises songs that are usually entirely shit. I was widely derided for my views on the radio in a thread here a year or so ago, and those views are based on most commercial radio stations and their daytime output. Radio essentially exists to fuel the music industry machine and the mere concept of the 'playlist' ruins any sense of freedom from those shackles. The playlist caters for simpletons (99.9% of the UK population) who need to be told what music to like - it seeps in, you end up knowing the words, it becomes cosy and familiar, you buy the records or at the very least keep listening to the same station, which impresses the advertisers, and so on...
My good lady always has the radio on, but at least now she has a DAB we can have some more variety, and some stations, like Absolute 90s, seem to plumb the depths and stick some real old curios out here and there along with the usual suspects, but I've not heard songs repeated often at all. The other day we happened upon Gaydar Radio. Now I'm not sure if that is offensive to anyone, gay or not, but the DJs we heard said it was 'Frigay' and they looked forward to next 'Wedlesday'. Seems they missed a trick by not calling it Gaydio. Do homosexual people listen to exclusively gay music then? I digress...
Radio is almost entirely shit, but is an essential money-spinner as artists/rights holders get something like 90 quid per play - hence why we should all be writing Christmas songs.
Back to that orangey faced velour council bint who got up close and personal with Geordie bucket of shit Cheryl, I too unfortunately caught that scene and it proved everything I have ever said about the woman - a real diseased gonad of a woman living in some exceedingly odd dream world where extreme hardship earns you fake affection and if you're not a fellow piece of groomed arsecheese or a jumped-up crack whore who sings like a squid being sodomised, you might as well be dead. Her scripted compassion is unbearable to a sane person. Simon and Louis in some ways play it for laughs, and of course the money, but Cheryl's po-faced celeb god status makes me want to bake my own shit, rub it into my eyeballs and cry it into an envelope marked 'Cheryl Cole, The X-Factor, URGENT'.
Next year, I want to see Tweedycole auditioning to justify her existence. She doesn't even have to sing.
I have sausage fingers and deep knees.

Which one? And from what I understand, you'd have to pay afterwards.

And I think you're mistaking Cher for the other lass, Chloe Mafia.

Yet another epic point made by you sickmoth.
Oh and i do love that song.
Cherly Cole looks totally dead behind the eyes, she just comes across as a self absorbed piece of shit.

To carry on with Cheryl Cole although digressing away from the XFactor, I had a late one in the pub last night and on the lonely dark walk home I passed a bus shelter which had a large advertising display on it. A mega-sized face shot of Cheryl Cole for Loreal or somebody, am I wrong for feeling the urge to piss on it?
Tell you what though, I'm sure her eyes followed me as I went on my merry way, like those old portraits in castles do on Scooby Doo. Maybe she knows I'd been slagging her off on here?

We listen to Absolute Radio (which was Virgin Radio when I started listening), Absolute '80s and Absolute '90s a lot, although our DAB radio is shit, and is poorer at finding signal than an analogue one - half the time it sounds like it's broadcasting underwater.sickmoth wrote:My good lady always has the radio on, but at least now she has a DAB we can have some more variety, and some stations, like Absolute 90s, seem to plumb the depths and stick some real old curios out here and there along with the usual suspects, but I've not heard songs repeated often at all.
I work with three gay guys and one of them listens to the radio often when his boss is out. He had Gaydar FM on a while back, and it was so stereotypically gay - it was exclusively stuff like Cher and cheesy '90s dance and poppy inoffensive manufactured group shite. Luckily I no longer hotdesk, so I don't have ever sit near him any more; I'm not sure my ears could take it.The other day we happened upon Gaydar Radio.
