Yeah, I was bitten by several dogs as a kid, over the years, many considered by their owners as 'child friendly', and many accusing me of provoking them in some way.
However, in my experience, dogs are generally cool. It's the majority of their owners who aren't, present company excepted of course. The large majority of dog owners round my way don't seem to bother socialising them with other dogs or even humans, don't give them any exercise, making them very bad tempered, and only let them out their front door so they can crap all over my street. I hit a massive pile of turd while wearing sandals the other day. Nice.

My wife was bitten on the face by a Rottweiler when she was around 15, its left her with a deep fear of that breed of dog and sometimes her lip still gives her grieve to this day... she's now 35.
But the good news is she still wants us to get a puppy Lab in about 4 or 5 weeks... you can't tar all dogs with the same brush because of one incident. Anyway give me a dog over a f**king cat anyday.

Maybe all dogs dont bite kids faces but they all shit, they shit in the park, they shit the garden or yard, they shit on the street, they shit in the house... they also piss in the same places, they stink!... OK not all dogs stink awful but all dogs stink of dog and imo thats pretty awful, they slaviate, they lick fingers and faces.
The dog owner that sits with the dog on the knee allowing the dog, that has just been licking its arse, to lick their face, is a beast! just the thought of it makes my stomach turn.
I like animals, I really do, I just dont like domestic animals... Maybe its to do with some deep childhood trauma or something, maybe Im ryans newphew

"So called" human-being's think it's acceptable to projectile vomit on high streets on a Friday and Saturday night, grown "men" urinate on shop windows, "ladies" reveal their titties to all and sundry, kids openly smoke drugs in front of anyone who dare to pass them and the go and kick the flying shit out of some poor old age pensioner, women from Blackpool urinate and perform sex acts on war memorials but a dog owner who allows their dog to sit on their knee and lick their face is a "beast"?
Yes when I think about it you are indeed correct, what is this world coming to eh?

Thank you for the support

Mentalcase has already shown up once, thats not a good sign.... next thing Ryans back, bob gets involved.... Jay uses a 3 word crushing put down... I feel like a massive nob, appologise to all and so on and so fourth..

Dogs are better than cats. I fucking hate cats.
I hear Brussels Griffons make very good hunting dogs though.

I'm a rat person myself, given the chance. I had two rats in my teens and twenties and loved them to bits. My first, Basil, was my favourite 'cos he was super intelligent. He would come when called, and escape his cage in the night to come and find me. I'd often wake to find him curled up fast asleep on my shoulder.
My partner won't let me keep rats though, so I'm stuffed. She thinks the cats will eat them, but the only room in the house the cats are allowed in is the kitchen, and I had plans to put the rat cage in our bathroom, which is almost the largest room in the house and has lots of space for things like rat cages. The cats wopuld never have got near them. 'Oh, they'll make a mess, and it'll be muggins here who has to clean them out each week.' No it won't love, they'll be MY rats, not yours - and anyway we've got three kids old enough to start learning teh responsibilities of looking after pets, so they could do it.
She wasn't having it though. 'Maybe when the cats die' she said, but she's locked the spade away and hidden the key, so that's not going to happen anytime soon...

A long with my dog I have three ferrets named Sniper, Bear and Blizzard. I had a rat in high school named Jaxx. He would always get out of his cage and sleep on my pillow at night. When I would wake up he would be sitting there staring at me.... I think he want to kill me or something.

I love rats too. Currently havent got any at the moment but had 5 during my lifetime so far. Such intelligent animals (unless you get a dumb one like I did) and you can teach them just about everything. The last one I had was really into athletics on the TV. He would curl up with me and watch it. Quite liked Dragon's Den too.
Got 2 degus at the moment though. First time I've ever owned them before. Nice pets but for some reason mine are the opposite of what they are supposed to be like

Also got a dog and 2 horses.

Do rats seriously do things like that?
