I've got a couple of tenuous links to this: the chip shop he robbed is up the street from my brother's house, and i was close friends to the sister of Karl Ness, one of the men arrested in connection.

Edit: just looked at his facebook, i know about 80% of his friends tho his sister isn't on the list.
