If you need tips on how to play games and bottle feed at the same time, give me a shout.

Cool. 'Cos there will come a time when you're sat up at 3am in the morning for at least an hour with a baby and bottle wondering 'what the **** can I do to kill time until she 's full?' It's at that time WoW became all the more special to me. It is possible to have the baby propped up against one arm, with the bottle trapped in the inside crook of your elbow, while both hands are free to raid Stratholme. Winding is dead easy if you put the kid across your shoulder fireman-lift style, using your chin to press her back and make her burp. It does mean only having one eye on the screen, but with a bit of practise you can keep up your DPS for most boss fights.

Nicely done sir!
I salute any male that stays in the delivery room - i have no intention of being there at my first childs birth (don't tell the other half!).

No way - you HAVE to be there!! It's such a crazy experience! It's like watching your most precious person puke up loads of blood and stuff but from the wrong end, and with a gorgeous wee bairn at the end of it all. It's all very emotional and heartwarming.code selfish wrote:Word. Never again. I was at then birth of all three of mine, and I wouldn't have missed them for the world. I was the first person to hold my eldest, and there's always been that little extra bond between us. It'll probably be severed abruptly when she hits her teens and starts bringing her boyfriends back home, but for now it's nice.
I cut the umbilical cord on all three too. That was absolutely fascinating! It's like a kind of weird rubbery biomechanical tube - very Giger-esque, and when you cut it, it's like cutting play-doh that has been left out overnight, and all this brownish goo seeps out.
I am totally fascinated by the workings of the human body anyway, so seeing how it all went from inception, pregnancy, birth and now them growing older and changing, is all absolutely brilliant! It's like a nature/science programme in my house!!

Well, obviously I love my kids more than anything ever, but if I never see that shit again it'll be too soon.
