it think they can be as bad as each other, white shows dirt easier, but black shows greasy marks (from our greasy mitts) far more visibly. My black ds and acoustic guitar show fingermarks really badly, and neither are cheap.

I hated it when everything went silver. Ended up with a silver/grey tv that doesnt match my amp, speakers dvd and cd player.

Real girly comment coming up - I much preferred the good old days of silver because black and white boxes show the dust so damn much! Same way that wooden TV cabinets were better.

Now I have a black LCD TV on it's glass stand, with a black DVD player and white Wii. It never looks clean!

The off-white of the Sky+ box is the only saving grace. Bah.

Remember the gold old days of a grey SNES and PS1 lined up next to each other?
