As far as I'm aware. Not tried any on my slim yet but on the phat one they all worked fine. My friend had a problem with changing discs on one of the final fantasy games but I'm not sure if that was him being an idiot or the console...

Yes. Not all games work though. Some got issues.

All my ps1 games work except the ones which are too old scratched and unloved.

I have played FFVII and G-Police recently and both were still fun.
