PC Problem

Hello gents

i'm having a problem with my Desktop PC, when I turn it on it loads up to the log on screen, I type in my password and it starts logging on and then it restarts, its just keeps doing this in a cycle

I've tried changing the power cable which did nothing

I'm running XP

can anyone help?

Sounds like a missing or corrupt driver. Have you tried booting in safemode (hit F8 on the POST screen)?

It could be that the machine is overheating when it gets to this point and automatically shutting down. Check that your fans are plugged in right and that nothing is obstructing them.
