Nothing there I disagree with, actually. No fucking DA3's this year at least. Never forget.

My thoughts:

Best Game Direction:
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Best Narrative:
What Remains of Edith Finch

Best Art Direction:
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Best Score / Music:
Destiny 2

Best Audio Design:
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Best Ongoing Game:
Overwatch

Best Action Game:
Destiny 2

Overall game of the year I need to think on. And finish Odyssey at least.

Surely the best handheld game is also Breath of the Wild?

If Nier doesn't win best music there is no God.

I don't care how much style Persona has. Nier sounds amazing. And it does the whole 'dynamic soundtrack' thing as well like Metal Gear Rising. It sounds so good.

Cuphead's music is better than both Nier and Persona 5 in my view 8)

All 3 are incredible though to be fair.

Good point. I don't think best handheld can be a category for much longer.

It's clear those involved in this never got a butchers at Blakey's top ten :)

I remember watching this last year but can't remember if it was live or not.

It's on at an awkward time and I'm working. Anyone know if an we can watch it after?

Yeah there'll be a full archive stream on their YT channel right after the show ends, they did the same last year.

Good stuff. I was hoping/ confident there would be. It must've been where I watched it last year.

I'd assume it's not necessarily the best game of the year, but the one that builds the combination of story, theme and atmosphere the best.

Like Wolfenstein 2 is a schlocky B-Movie style thrill ride, but it's so well constructed, and everything fits together and meshes so incredibly well.

Expect a Souls Switch remaster for Switch to be announced at TGA's tomorrow night according to rumours.

Geoff Keighley's also said there will be two worlds shown that have never been seen before at the TGAs, and has been hinting he's got AAA games to announce, not just Indies/VR titles.

Titles confirmed to have new trailers/gameplay so far:

Metro Exodus,
Sea of Thieves,
PUBG's new map,
New Jumanji trailer,
New Way Out gameplay/trailer.

12-15 'world premieres' during the show, 3-5 in the pre-show according to Keighley.

Nintendo of America have also been putting out a load of tweets telling people to tune in, so looks like some Ninty announcements may be sprinkled in there.
