Image

Yet another rifle...

Image

:? Strange stats page though (no fire modes displayed), not sure what it does yet as i'm not strong enough to wield it.

Image

Also found a rather nice looking shield in south west Ignadon...

Image

 Holy Smeg its stronger than the Redeemer and its just a Laser Rifle...

Image

 and it has the Mutie killer stat buff as well....

Image

:?: in theory buffs should stack, they do for lock picking at least.

And finally have recently got the big game hunter trophy for killing 1000 mutants why couldn't I have found this one sooner...

Well I've explored about 70% of the map (only Xacor to go) so I think its time to try the faction runs.

Ive saved my main game at 116 days and made a save game 2 as a base, decided to tackle the Outlaws first managed to get Nasty Girl as a companion also did Mad Dogs missions as well, but its been 20 of hours since I first visited here and I cant quite remember how to start the Arena missions

:? dosent seem to be any missions after you max rank, pity I thought Jax might try and take over at the very least.

Basically sold everything from ammo to Legendry's this gave me 46k and then bought enough Raw Elex to make the 20 skill points I needed to unlock the lot in a one'r....

Will repeat this with the Beserkers next when I reload my 116 save.

If I keep up this pace I might be done with Elex in 2019.

Today I noticed that a lot of stuff happened in the Dome while I was gone. I got access to a secret thief society and quickly joined them and finally invested some skill points in the pickpocket-skill. Which means I can steal from people now without killing them first. No matter how you look at it that's a good thing!

8) oooh Thieves Guild cool.

Haven't ventured near the City yet myself, just completed the Clerics run...

Image

You do earn a nifty little toy that give you access to Cleric "spells"...

Image

Don't worry about which version to go for you get both along the way...

 do like the Hologram emitter, reminds me of Schwarzenegger's Total Recall...

Seeing how slow I am at this game I doubt I'll ever get to experience every faction but from looking at the skill trees it seems to me that the Berserkers will be my choice eventually. Clerics seem interesting as well but not quite as much and I don't really like any of the Outlaw skills.

To be honest I think that i'll be completing the game as a Free Folk, my guess is the end game will feature a large set piece with all factions fighting together against the Alb.

So I don't think I need a faction to finish. though I could be wrong.

And the Legendry's I've found outclass pretty much any skill (though the Cleric weapon/travel alone boost is nice and I do like that spirit wolf as well).

Also...

:!: DING :!: DING :!: DING :!:

A new update arrived and its fixed the Bookworm glitch, you can now earn 25 EXP. for every book, flyer and audio tape even ones you looked at already.

:D must be sitting on 2k of EXP alone.

:| take heed though after updating my game crashed during play for the first time  connected :?: maybe, maybe not.

 rats, seems you need to join a faction to progress the main story, tried everything else but I've hit a wall.

Oh and I've figured out how to crack locks at last...

Would have been cool if there was a 'neutral' way but I suppose they consider the Outlaws kind of neutral. They hate everyone equally.

Which faction did you choose? I'm still convinced it will be the Berserkers for me by he time I reach that point in the story.

Yeah I went Berserker as well, more just to have Fido running around than anything else.

Slowly going through the story and one things puzzling me :?

Cold.

Now this seems to be a morality meter of sorts, but for the life of me all I seem to be is neutral.

Some answers make it go up some down but i'm always neutral, I wonder that my choices reflect on me or the makers ideas of what I should be doing.

That is to say as a rule I tend to pick what I consider sarcastic answers, which the makers sometimes deem angry( cold+) or logical (cold-).

Thiers 2 trophies tied to your cold rating so I think its safe to say i'll never platinum this one.

Just shy of finishing this so I stopped to see what I missed...

Spoilers.

Going over this Game Guide : https://guides.gamepressure.com/elex/guide.asp?ID=41990 I've maybe only missed out on a few minor missions, did check the trophy list and found this rather silly on here...

Image

...basically just jump to your death 20 times

Also found this very useful interactive map : https://guides4gamers.com/elex/map/magalan/ which made finding those last few map pieces a lot easier.

:!: oh and finally found a hacking guide...

1. Interact with a safe and press hack button. During the mini-game you must find the right password (an example is presented in the picture

2. The red numbers mean that they don't appear in the password, yellow numbers mean that they are in a wrong place and green ones indicate that they are in the right place.

If i'm honest I enjoyed simply roaming around in the open world more than the story/clan missions as I found the dialogue trees a little off at times :| some reply's just didn't feel right for how I viewed my character.
