I'm glad they're going back (stop playing CoD at CoD4) but it looks very America-centric? Very Band of Brothers, Normandy landings, kill the fuking Nazis type job. Over-exposure of this particular narrative is why people got weary of WWII fiction to begin with.

CoD II showed different perspectives like the Eastern Front and North African campaigns. It's a good model they should try again. I'm not against having a more intense story focus either, just tell some more interesting stories.

I think BF1's reveal last year was a hell of a lot more impressive even if it was very 'poppy' (not the flower).

Anyway this reminds me I never played BF1 and that was a game I was kind of interested in.

Going to create a HUKD alert for BF1 I think

When and what battles take place in the games never made a difference to me. When the levels start it just becomes a shooting gallery and it doesn't matter where it is. Despite playing a lot of WW2 shooters I don't think I've learnt or can remember a single reason why I was doing what I was doing in them. It's just more Nazi's, just more shooting tanks in the back.

And saying it is actually making me feel a little nauseous. Not this again with the fuckin MP 40's and the M2 grands or whatever

The Deployment Kit does not include the game. It will cost $129.99.

Wait, there's a limited edition - strategy guide -- for a call of duty game -- and it's 120$

Every step in that sentence just gets more unbelievable the further it goes
