Family gamers?

Do any of your family play games? My sister and mum are Nintendo freaks. My sister completed banjo-kazooie 100% before I did and my mum plays Pikmin like a mad person. My dad is more of an outdoorsy person but he'll play warioware from time to time. Any one else got gamers in the family?

My mum plays C&C, I've actually just mentioned this on another thread and now this one pops up, spooky.
My brothers play as does my closest auntie, my sister plays god sims as well. That's everyone then, so, yes, lot's of other gamers in my family.

It was actually that post (and a couple others) that made me decide to make this thread.

How about that, I've inspired someone.

My mum used to play Pacman on our Atari 2600 until the small hours.
These days my parents won't touch games, but my brother still plays games, albeit in a more casual manner than I do. I'm actually pleased to say that my kids are pretty much the same. ie - they game but it plays a very small part of their lives. I'd much rather they were out playing football, riding bikes or playing music.

My brother is also much more casual than I am (although it's not like I'm hardcore or anything, but I play at least a few times a week, but more often than not, everyday), but he did buy an N64 about a month ago and has been playing Zelda quite a bit I think. When I lived at home, we used to play Timesplitters 2 a lot, and going back even further, he used to cry when I beat him at wrestling games.

My dad used to play co-op Donkey Kong Country with me about 10 years ago, but's that's about as far as it goes really...

My dad used to play PC games and got me into Doom, Elite, Theme Park, Quake, Alone in the Dark, Myst, Dungeon Keeper and other classics when I was growing up.
It's strange but he's terrible at games nowadays. Just plays FPS's on the X-box (His PC isn't powerful enough for modern PC games).
I have a few cousins who love their games like me.

Me and my sis are playing games all the time.
My dad used to play Super Mario World in the good old SNES days, and also played on the Atari 7800 in the even older days. Among others Choplifter and Kung Fu Master. He once stayed up all night when playing Super Mario World.
My mum got her own comp now and is playing various card games.

None of my family play games. My brother is only two years older than me but when he sees a game he's like your gran- "ooh, look at the shiny lights."
I was visiting my mum and she saw I had GTA on the PSP. She looked disgusted and said "Isn't that the game where you have to murder prostitutes?" Thanks, Daily Mail. You dicks.
(edit : my brother is two years older than me, not two years old... doh.)

My Mum stole my DS for a month to play Brain Training and Zoo Keeper, I bought her one in the end so I could get it back. She also loves Blitz and Jetpac from the days of the Vic 20, I even left it at my parents house and she occasionally boots it up 20+ years after they bought it for me!!
My Dad often visits for a kicking at Pro Evo,Galaxians and Phoenix.
One of my Uncles plays Tiger Woods and that Real world golf simmy thing on the PS2.

Horay My thread made you think of a cool one!
All my family hated games apart from the gameboy and tetris was the only they played.

Haha! I know exactly how you feel.
Funny how the media can make a game known for one factor which is hardly relevant at all to the plot/objectives etc.
Although I do remember a couple of prostitute-killing missions
