silver crowns mean you've completed that galaxy 100%. for the time being at least.

Silver crowns me you have all the gold stars in a level. Gold crowns mean you have all the Green & Gold stars in a level.

All done! Thats all 242 stars collected. What a fantastic game, it never gets boring not even for a second. All the levels have their own quirks and things only get better when going after all the green stars since it makes things more challenging yet it never stops being fun.

The very last 2 stars that you get on the super secret (well not really) final level which opens up after getting 240 stars is an awesome gauntlet where you utilise the skills you've learnt over the past 7 worlds and put them to the ultimate test. The final star makes you do this level without being hit and without checkpoints. I'd say its probably the hardest star to get in the game for the Hammer/Boomerang Bros bit alone.

Looooveing this game. Reminds me why I love Nintendo so much!

I've just encountered my first Prankster Coments which are brilliant fun. I especially enjoy the one's where cosmic clone's chase you (but by god does it give a rush when there's about 20 of the buggers chasing you!). Do prankster comets stay over galaxy's for ever or do they eventually dissapear - meaning you've lost out on a star? Ive been going to galaxy's with prankster coment's as fast as possible because im under the belief that if you dont go to them they dissapear?

Also had a go on a huge slide on one of the galaxy's - it was a big tree one and I also got to play as Luigi! was class. Although I had to re-start about 10 times though haha.

Nintendo held an online, condensed version of their E3 2010 press conference with analysts the day after the conference. Within, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime discussed Wii’s momentum throughout 2010 and into the fall. Helping leading the charge? Super Mario Galaxy 2.

“In May,” said Fils-Aime, “we launched both Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the new Wii configuration…featuring either black or white hardware, as well as both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is approaching 900,000 units here in the U.S.”

Nearly a million units for Mario’s second galactic outing on Wii in the US alone. Not bad, Mario.
